Inspiration has always been easy for me to find. Vibrant colors, organic shapes, and the fluidity of natural forms provide the basis for my compositions. From the bounty of the farmer's market, to the changing tones of a landscape, to the light and dynamism of the marina, I am perpetually searching for a unique quality of line to translate to the canvas.
I pursued a traditional education in painting through a four year mentorship with artists Darryl Hughto and Susan Roth. Learning to work with acrylic paints in their studio, I discovered limitless potential for color representation and a sculptural surface. My continued relationship with Hughto and Roth encourages me to keep pushing the limits of my painting and to find new modes of expression.
